CMF's philosophy is one where the well-being of the horse comes first. We are a personal private facility with a focus on rescuing horses and providing them a safe place to live out their years. This commitment is evident throughout the property with features such as year round well-manicured grass turnouts. The horses are housed in a custom-built 9-stall barn equipped with mud-free runs, a spacious grooming area, a heated wash rack, tack room, feed room and office. Additionally, the farm boasts a 100x200ft all-weather arena with lights and 60ft covered round pen, both featuring All Weather TruTex Footing for the horses’ comfort and safety.

Claire

Claire has been with the CMF family for nearly 15yrs. She enjoys helping kids and adults learn the ins and outs of horses and gain confidence while doing it. She is a kind, gentle and loving pony who is the perfect guide for someone looking to learn more about horses.

Valentine

Valentine has been with CMF for roughly 7yrs and is what we call our "pocket pony". She loves to cuddle and be close to you. She enjoys helping new friendly faces learn about horses & spending time with her herd-mates in the field. She has a gentle kind heart & loves hugs.

Vanessa Howard

Vanessa’s professional journey includes decades of equine experience, higher education, corporate work and a constant focus on interpersonal and spiritual development.

Vanessa’s show jumping career began in the early 1980’s at the age of eight in the pony hunter division where she progressed through the ranks to the Junior Hunter and Jumper Divisions. Qualifying for the AHSA/USEF Finals back East multiple times, the ASPCA/Maclay West Coast Finals, as well as winning the CET Medal, during her years as a Junior rider. Vanessa showed and won many top Championships at prestigious horse show venues including Spruce Meadows, Thunderbird, Indio/Thermal and many more. Vanessa’s championship awards are both numerous and in recognition of her dedication to the sport.
